Topics in Scandinavian Linguistics.

The course is intended as a hands-on introduction to a topic in Scandinavian language study and designed to be relevant to graduates studying Scandinavian linguistics/philology. The topic(s) of the course vary and are dependent on the students' current research interests. Its aim is to guide students through the process of conducting research for an academic paper: from deciding on theoretical approach to collecting and analyzing date to presenting the findings and results in a professional manner. The course is conducted as a seminar, in which students discuss approaches and conclusions and share data.
