Danish language and culture is taught from beginner’s level through 5th semeter in which Danish literature is being read and discussed in Danish. Thus, there is a clear progression in language proficiency linked with a strong aspect of cultural knowledge e.g. history, politics, food, sports, literature, art. etc.

The language instruction is centered in communicative competence, and its goal is to provide the students with a working vocabulary of 750 words per semester. The classes are small and employ the latest technology while offering a great opportunity to talk and interact in Danish.

The program encourages study abroad in Aarhus and / or Copenhagen with a chance to apply for scholarship funding.
